Ukraine: America's cannon fodder
From 2014 to 2022: how the West started a proxy war against Russia
In this conflict lies the long-term policy of the US in the post-Soviet area, i.e. west and south of Russia to have free access to raw materials and to gain influence, but at the same time to stop Russia's influence. The center of the Russian empire, Moscow, up to the border is all flat land so there is no border barrier. The first line of defense must therefore distance itself as far as possible. This is sure that they have leeway in the event of an attack. So Ukraine is a fundamental buffer state for Russia and they cannot accept that the Americans extend their influence even further.
Zbigniew Brzezinski clearly indicated the geopolitical importance of Ukraine when he wrote in 1997 that the US should control Ukraine because it is a new and important place on the Eurasian chessboard and is a geopolitical pivot because it is a country that stops Russia from to be Eurasian empire. Like Kissinger, he also believes that Russia should be divided into three autonomous parts, including a European part. At the end of the twentieth century this was about to happen, when during the rampage of western-backed oligarchs they planned to divide the country among themselves. Eventually Putin came to power and suppressed the oligarchic and NGO elite. Putin has ensured that the oligarchs stay out of politics. This is in contrary with Ukraine, where the oligarchs are the politicians. That is also the reason why Ukrainian presidents do not receive a particularly high rating at the end of their term, to say the least.
The US campaign is behind the unrest in Ukraine – and Georgia, where it trained the corrupt Saakashvili how to overthrow the (democratically reelected) government. After the war in the former Yugoslavia, they focused on Ukraine. After Saakashvili, who suppressed dissidents while in office, started a war against Russia and provoked them by pushing Georgia into NATO, was voted out, he fled the country from criminal charges and then actively participated in the 2014 revolution in Ukraine - after which he was rewarded with Ukrainian citizenship and a government post at Poroshenko's administration. The Democratic Party's DNI, the Republican Party's IRI, the US State Department, and USAID are the primary agencies involved in these grassroots campaigns, as well as billionaire George Soros's Freedom House and Open Society Foundation, to help the American puppet Viktor Yushchenko get into power. The Western "democratic" campaign in Ukraine was a major flop as Yuschenko's popularity declined rapidly and his government was riddled with corruption from the likes of revolution leaders Tymoshenko and Poroshenko.
The second revolution of early 2014 was also orchestrated by the West. The US then transported the gold reserves from Ukraine to the US, fearing that Ukraine would still become a federation. In 2014, Ukrainian gold reserves were reduced by a multiple of sixteen. More than 20 tons of gold have disappeared. The US may aim to bankrupt Ukraine and then let the EU take charge of it costs. In addition, America retains control over Europe's food supply as they control Ukraine. President Obama blurted out during an interview that the US administration had struck a deal to "transition" power in Ukraine. The aim of the revolution was to get rid of the democratically and fairly elected President Viktor Yanukovich. Poroshenko acknowledged that the 2014 coup was illegal.
Yanukovich refused the association treaty with the EU because he knew he was being misled and that the treaty would mean a loss to Ukraine of as much as $160 billion, money the country never had. To be part of this program, the EU had required Ukraine to impose neoliberal structural adjustments, sell government assets and give the Washington-led IMF even more control over Ukrainian state spending. What is also not disclosed about this deal is that by accepting it, it would require Ukraine to be set up for genetically modified crops and organisms and lift the ban on the sale of rich farmland to the private sector. Instead, Yanukovich opted for a $15 billion Russian aid package plus a discount on Russian natural gas. As a result of refusing the EU deal, the US spent as much as $5 billion on the opposition in Ukraine. The coup had very negative consequences for Ukraine. Ukraine's domestic product, which had grown steadily every year during Yanukovich's four years in office, fell by more than a quarter in 2014 and then by nearly a third the following year. Even more disastrous is the decline in the average per capita income, which had just risen so sharply under Yanukovich. Ukraine has still not recovered from this blow.
Although the Ukrainian public opinion is non-stop influenced by by US interference, independent pre-coup polls show that Ukraine's majority opposed the revolution, supported the deal with Russia and that Yanukovich was still the most popular against of the other candidates. The West paid massive protesters and staged large-scale protests in which violent neo-Nazi groups that would later infiltrate the military, police and security apparatus. They represent a powerful faction of the Ukrainian political spectrum and one of the forces in Ukrainian society pushing for an escalating war with the separatist regions and Russia. They even enjoy support and training from Western governments and NATO. These neo-Nazis also carried out a false flag attack to provoke western intervention. After the 2014 coup, Ukraine held elections without serious opposition candidates – because those all were oppressed by prominent fascist elements, and western-backed billionaire Petro Poroshenko won.
A leaked conversation from Victoria Nuland - who was on the board of NED and has been involved in literally every US war/coup in the 21st century - revealed the US was indeed planning a coup against Yanukovich. Nuland was the wife of the warmongering neocon Robert Kagan. During the Iraq war, Kagan argued with PNAC founder William Kristol for an even more disastrous approach because they did not think bombing Iraq alone was enough. The presidential candidate Nuland suggested in the conversation was—except for the least popular in the polls—a key ally of ultra-pro-Western former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, who led the 2004 revolution.
Tymoshenko was accused by Brzezinski of large-scale money laundering for the then - and later convicted - Prime Minister of Ukraine in exchange for her monopoly on the country's gas resources in the 1990s. During this time, they are said to have laundered about half a billion dollars. Tymoshenko learned business during an affair with the infamous oligarch Viktor Pinchuk. When these fraudulent activities took place, Yushchenko was the head of the national bank and laundered hundreds of millions for politicians. This clique, which also includes the notorious Ihor Kolomoisky, had entered into a clan war against those of Yanukovich and Akhmetov including arrests, disappearances, murders - which also explains Tymoshenko's persecution by Yanukovich. When Yanukovich was impeached, she was immediately released and the interim president was charged with destroying incriminating documents about her and Semion Mogilevich - who was on the FBI's most wanted list. Mogilevic was a business associate of the Italian mafia, the Yakuza and Colombian drug cartels and was controlled by the CIA. Through the Belgian top official Alfred Cahen he was introduced to the Belgian-French intelligence.
In other words, since 2014 Ukraine is unofficially an American colony. Because of the threat of civil war, and because there are many Russians living in eastern Ukraine, part of the area was partitioned off, which after a referendum twenty years earlier already had a large degree of autonomy and belonged to Russia for centuries until it was was given to Ukraine in the 1950s – when the country was still part of the Soviet Union. The secession happened with the consent of the local residents themselves, who held a referendum and unanimously agreed to join Russia. Western-funded polls before the secession also showed that these Eastern Ukrainians (mostly) considered themselves Russian. This was the beginning of the military conflict between Ukraine and Russia that continues to this day.
Joe Biden's son Hunter, Cofer Black and a - later convicted - employee of John Kerry were executives of Ukrainian gas giant Burisma. Kerry lied to Senate about his knowledge of Hunter Biden's affairs in Burisma. Just after the Yanukovich regime collapsed, the head of Burisma, Kolomoisky agent Mykola Zlochevsky, transferred an amount of millions to a bank in Great Britain. The British immediately froze these assets because they knew it was dirty money. Burisma first sent the money to obscure companies in Eastern Europe. Many Eastern European countries are known for corruption and have very low regulations. The only reason people send such sums of money there is for money laundering. In 2014, Deutsche Bank also flagged a similar multimillion-dollar transaction from Zlochevsky's companies to Kolomoisky's PrivatBank.
Shortly after this happened, i.e. just after the coup, Hunter joined Burisma's board. Burisma has been described as a vast secretive network whose control and ownership are veiled. The suspected primary owner of Burisma was criminal Zionist oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, who is also the head of PrivatBank. Emails reveal that Hunter Biden's main business partner in Ukraine, who was also believed to be a contact of Joe Biden, was a well-known frontman for Kolomoisky. Controversy arose over the authenticity of the emails, not entirely unjustified since the source was 9/11 cover-up agent Rudy Giuliani, but independent investigators have concluded that these emails were genuine. Crimes are allowed as long as the elite themselves are not hit, which is exactly the unwritten rule Trump broke when he went after Hunter Biden's corruption in Ukraine during his father's vice presidency because Hunter was paid a million a year from Burisma when he had no experience in that business at all. Interestingly, Trump's former campaign chairman also worked for Burisma, sparking a criminal investigation that revealed much western corruption in Ukraine.
Kolomoisky, who is very close to President Zelensky, controlled virtually all Ukrainian media, used Privatbank to loot billions from Ukrainian depositors, funds notorious Nazi army battalions and private armies to take over rival companies, puts bounties on Russian rebels and has been charged with contract killings against rival oligarchs. These Kolomoisky-funded neo-Nazis are in direct cooperation with the US military. One of these contract killings likely could have been Burisma's former co-owner, who was killed in a car crash just before Burisma was secretly handed over to Kolomoisky by Zlochevsky. Zlochevsky's other companies are also at the same address as Kolomoisky's.
According to a partner of the founder of Burisma, Biden paid millions - that was stolen from the Ukrainian people - through the PrivatBank. So Burisma could have acted as a convenient financial conduit for a dirty war against Russia. The then chairman of the national bank of Ukraine who was behind the eventual nationalization of PrivatBank was later beaten up and her house, as well as her daughter-in-law's car, was burned down. Not surprisingly: Poroshenko's successor Zelensky was involved in money laundering with Kolomoisky and secretly funneled tens of millions from him. This very important and incriminating story about the Bidens in Ukraine has been criminally covered up by the mainstream media for years, with the result that Biden could just win the presidential election. That's not all, as the Biden emails also reveal that he has funneled millions into biolabs in Ukraine, which the US has always lied about by claiming they don't exist, which store deadly pathogens by the way.
In early 2022, the Russia-Ukraine conflict escalated again after Putin recognized two eastern Ukrainian regions, which had already considered themselves independent following a referendum in 2014, as independent republics. The position of fascists has strengthened considerably in Ukraine in the eight years of the civil war, from 2014 to 2022. Thus, every Ukrainian president relies heavily on the support of these elements. Moreover, all the forces that would normally oppose fascism or would be against the civil war have not existed en masse in Ukraine for eight years. The first actions of the post-2014 coup were to ban left-wing parties in the country and further reduce the rights of language minorities. Then Ukrainian fascists attacked anti-coup demonstrations in the streets across the country. When they violently broke up the anti-coup protests, these two areas in the east of the country revolted and declared independence from Ukraine. The coup sent the military to suppress their revolts. Initially, many Ukrainian soldiers refused to shoot at their own compatriots in this civil war started by their US-backed government. Seeing the hesitation of the Ukrainian military, neo-Nazi battalions were deployed to lead the offensive against civilian militias in these areas, killing Russian-speaking Ukrainians.
After the conflict in 2014, Russia and Ukraine tried to negotiate agreements that included constitutional autonomy for these regions. However, these agreements never got off the ground and almost none of the demands have actually been successfully implemented. Ukraine refuses to abide by them. The excuse what Ukraine uses to break the accords is misleading as there is (almost) no Russian military presence in the area. The vast majority of rebels are simply local Ukrainians. Ukraine even refuses to talk to the rebels. In Russian perspective, it was certainly important that the accords would succeed because it's better for Putin to have all of Ukraine reunited and to have those autonomous regions in it that can then exert political influence over all of Ukraine to prevent the country from joining NATO and accepting intermediate-range weapons on its territory, rather than that those areas are completely separated from Ukraine, allowing the country to join NATO without internal resistance.
When the US tells Zelensky to continue the civil war in Ukraine against its own election promises, support NATO membership, ignore these accords, or even ask for nuclear weapons, it does whatever it takes. Like any other US puppet regime, Ukraine has no real independence. Every US administration has actively pressured Ukraine to confront Russia, against the will of the majority of the Ukrainian people. The fact that most Ukrainians wanted peace with Russia was reflected in the convincing election victory of the 'peace candidate' Zelensky. And the fact that Zelensky is doing the exact opposite of what he promised shows how little political power he actually has.
In 2019, the Ukrainian people clearly showed their opposition to this war by voting with an overwhelming majority against the anti-Russian hardliner Poroshenko. Zelensky was chosen because he pledged to improve relations with Russia and fight corruption. He therefore adhered to both. Like the supposedly "moderate" Poroshenko, Zelensky was told that he risked losing Western support, and the loyalty of the prominent fascist elements, which could kill him. So Zelensky completely turned the other way on his peaceful rhetoric, and he continued to support the civil war. Literally, some NATO states said they want "Ukrainians to keep fighting and die" to prevent Russia from making political gains and would rather continue the war in Ukraine if it could prevent Russia from meeting its security goals. Some NATO members want to avoid at all costs that “Russian President Vladimir Putin has even a semblance of victory could claim”. The US national security adviser said Ukraine's Zelensky's cabinet is working closely with Washington and is in "almost daily contact" with the White House. It should be clear who is really in control here.
RAND drafted a document in 2019, but it went unnoticed because it was confidential, intended solely for the use of US authorities. But a summary of it leaked to the press and caused a scandal, which was quickly covered up. The report describes the strategy of leaving Russia with no choice but to go to war with Ukraine through a series of provocations. This was carried out almost literally in 2022. This document is truly impressive because it specifies all the steps that must be taken to make Russia go to war. For example, by stepping up economic sanctions, planting deadly weapons in Ukraine through NATO, preventing Russia from selling gas and oil to European countries, and making the US sell its own gas to Europeans. In addition, it was recommended to cut all Russian ties with Europe, end the neutrality of the other neighboring countries and take many other coercive measures. The goal was very clear. Russia was already surrounded by countries that had allowed the installation of NATO military bases equipped with weapons of mass destruction. But the most important is Ukraine, which is a kind of wedge that penetrates into Russian territory. That was the red line that Putin said should not be crossed for military engineering and national security reasons: the installation of US surface-to-air missiles on the Ukrainian-Russian border would mean they could reach Moscow in five minutes with their deadly payload. This would mean depriving the Russians of the minimum warning time to prepare their defenses. Therefore, they demanded that NATO should not be installed in Ukraine.
Putin's reason for recognizing the independent republics was the systematic oppression of Russian Ukrainians in (Eastern) Ukraine, something the west simply ignores and even denies. The West has deliberately suppressed reports of the big neo-Nazi problem in Ukraine. Neo-Nazis also play an important official or tolerated role in US-backed Ukraine. The West's attitude in this is also very hypocritical since they gave the Albanians in Kosovo the right to self-determination but deprive the Russian Ukrainians in Eastern Europe of that same right. By far the largest number of civilian deaths in the years before the escalation of the conflict in 2022 came from the rebel areas. However, this shelling of the Nazi battalions and the mercenary armies against the Russian Ukrainians has received little or no attention in the western media, which means that fundamental background information about the conflict is lacking among the vast majority of the western population, who are therefore unable to objective judgment of the situation and thus be guided by emotion created by the anti-Russian western media. Zelensky is simply an incompetent and weak president who gives in to pressure from the extremist neo-Nazi battalions that infiltrated the government and military after the US-initiated coup – gripping the country and terrorizing ethnic Russians.
It became clear that Joe Biden was stirring up the conflict when even Ukrainian President Zelensky called on him to stop his war rhetoric. Zelensky himself is also little more a dictator, which became clear once again when he lost a lot of support compared to the pro-Russian opposition. He then banned the major opposition media and arrested the opposition leader without trial. He did this to please the Biden administration. The US applauded this undemocratic move, while Putin saw it as a direct attack on him and increased the concentration of troops at the border - which caused a dangerous and rapid escalating chess game. The co-leader of the opposition party however – also a close friend of Kolomoisky's, funded the Taliban. He also worked with Solntsevskaya heads like Mogilevic, Berezovsky and Mikhailov in Ukraine.
Putin proposed a special mutual security agreement with the United States and NATO in 2007. In a sense, it was contemplating a possible Russian membership of NATO. The response from Bush and the European countries, who are all lining up for the US administration, has been negative and contemptuous. Putin has clearly marked his red line that breaking the treaty on ballistic missiles and breaking the treaty on intermediate-range nuclear forces, which will allow the US to build unlimited missile installations around Russia so that they are capable of a first strike capability, along with NATO enlargement, are threatening. At first, he didn't even complain about NATO enlargement, even acquiescing in Western interests and giving up some important military bases. Russia has clearly warned the US decades ago that NATO membership to Ukraine will divide the country and potentially embroil it in a civil war that will force Russia, because of its deep socio-cultural and economic ties to Ukraine, to choose sides and intervene. The US has completely ignored him in this and shamelessly offered Ukraine and Georgia NATO membership shortly afterwards.
Of course Ukraine should decide its own future, but this is the real world where we are still dealing with spheres of influence, so the Ukrainian government has to understand that some things, like joining NATO, are a no-go (Putin never had a problem with Ukrainian EU membership). And also exactly what Russia predicted happened: polls show how badly the US-initiated crisis in 2014 divided the country in two. During the Cuban Missile Crisis, being able to see the whole world how the US (which at the same time housed nuclear weapons on Turkey itself) reacts when hostile influences approach its borders; a nuclear war was almost unleashed. The US has been doing the same to Russia for decades by enclosing them with NATO states, but is outraged if Russia does not accept this. And that while NATO promised not to expand eastwards after the reunification of East and West Germany. Compared to the US, Russia has therefore held back for a long time. A former US defense chief acknowledged that NATO was very much aware that NATO's eastward expansion was a threat to Russia and that the deteriorating relations were the result of its disdainful attitude towards Russia.
Of course there is also oil and gas involved in this conflict. Actually the only logical reason why NATO still exists after the fall of the Soviet Union is to control global energy resources. The US continuously opposed the plan for a new pipeline between Russia and Germany to prevent Europe from becoming completely energy dependent on Russia. They want Europe to replace cheap Russian gas for expensive American gas. This corrects the extremely negative trade balance of the US and Europe will of course have to pay the US with dollars, which will make it worth more due to an increase in demand. The US is practically bankrupt, and the only thing saving the US is the coercion it imposes on the world to pay for its raw materials in dollars. Shortly before the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the US therefore concluded an agreement with Germany that this pipeline would not be opened in the event of an act of Russian aggression. So it seems that they provoked Russia into such a situation, and therefore allowed the total invasion to happen, because they consider NATO expansion and undermining Russian integration in Europe a more important priority than saving Ukraine's people. After Putin recognized the Eastern Ukrainian regions, Germany closed the pipeline.
This is also kinda of what was going on around Turkey. There are huge oil fields around Turkey. If Turkey had joined the EU, this oil would be paid in euros, which of course has far-reaching consequences for the dollar. That is why the US tries to play Turkey and Europe against each other. They succeeded, because a month after the Bilderberg conference in 2016, a coup d'état followed. They probably let it fail deliberately so that Erdogan would make a rapprochement to the east, which he did, causing increasing friction with Europe. Just like Victoria Nuland's infamous "Fuck the EU!" and Joe Biden's public boasting in 2014 about the successful US campaign to force the EU to impose sanctions on Russia knowing it would hugely harm the EU itself once again revealed Washington's true nature towards Germany and the EU. Then you really do have a more reliable ally in Putin. For example: where Russia signed a lease with Ukraine and pays them annually and supplies raw materials at a third discount in exchange for their important military base in the country, Germany has to pay huge sums for the US weapons installations in their own country so that the US can fire missiles from German territory at the US entitled enemy states for which consequences Germany ultimately pays.
